New Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life featurette looks back

16 years have come and gone since we first stepped foot in Stars Hollow and only 52 days remain until the tiny Connecticut town once again lights up its iconic gazebo in Netflix‘s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. In anticipation of the upcoming four-part event, take a nostalgic look back at the series we couldn’t get enough of and the cast that made it so special in this all-new featurette featuring returning stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel. Check it out below!

They’ve also posted 60-second recaps of each of the previous seven seasons starting at this link. Finally, they’ve transformed LOTS of coffee shops around the country into “Luke’s,” and you can find your nearest one at this link!

The cast members returning for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life include Lauren Graham (Parenthood), Alexis Bledel (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Melissa McCarthy (The Boss), Scott Patterson (Saw V), Kelly Bishop (The Good Wife), Keiko Agena (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), Milo Ventimiglia (Gotham), Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Liza Weil (How To Get Away With Murder) and Yanic Truesdale (Rumors).

The revival will include four 90-minute episodes that will arrive on Netflix November 25.

Gilmore Girls, which aired between 2000 and 2007, is set in Stars Hollow, a storybook Connecticut town populated by an eclectic mix of dreamers, artists and everyday folk. The multi-generational drama about family and friendship centers around Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel). Lorelai owns the town’s bed-and-breakfast, the Dragonfly Inn, with best friend/chef Sookie (Melissa McCarthy), and contends with weekly dinners with eccentric, well-off parents Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop), who always have something to say about their daughter’s life.

Amy Sherman-Palladino is the creator and executive producer. Daniel Palladino is also an executive producer. They are both writing and directing the series. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is produced by Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
