Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West is said to be shaken but physically unharmed following a middle-of-the-night armed robbery in a luxury Paris residence. In the capital for Fashion Week, Kardashian was staying in a townhouse in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, near the Place de la Madeleine. At around 2:30 this morning, gunmen disguised as police officers entered the building and threatened their way past the concierge before two made it into Kardashian’s private apartment…

It’s official: Working Title Films is king of the UK box office. This weekend, Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan‘s powerhouse production banner became the first British company to earn $1B (£770M) at the UK box office, thanks to the release of Bridget Jones’s Baby, which has so far earned $41.1M in the UK after three weeks at number one. However, unlike the October 4, 2015 Season 1 finale, tonight’s politically timely “North” episode saw the bullets heading not towards walkers but refugees hoping to escape the zombie apocalypse in…

With Game of Thrones set to end after its eighth season in 2018 and Vinyl flaming out quicker than a one-hit wonder, HBO really needs an epic on its slate. After much revamping and reshooting plus full-tilt promotion, the premium cabler just might have found its future in Westworld. But, as a say in my video review above, this series drenched in blood, sex and violence is more Grand Theft Auto than the Emmy-winning GoT. Developed by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and based…

There were two major overseas openings for Hollywood, with a raft of hot local movies in the mix around the globe — many with savvy studio participation. There are also a series of key milestones as Finding Dory finally splashed into Germany and set a new bar for 2016 as well as crossing…

Opening its 42nd season in the final stretch of one of the most headline-grabbing Presidential elections in history, Saturday Night Live logged its strongest season premiere ratings in years. Last night’s show, hosted by Margot Robbie and featuring musical guest The Weeknd, as well as appearances by Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump and Larry David as Sen. Bernie Sanders, drew a 5.8 household rating in the metered markets, up +29% from last year’s 4.5 for the Oct. 3, 2015…
