If the anticipation wasn’t already sky-high for Marvel’s “Black Panther”, this new trailer will fix that. While “Black Panther” showed up in “Captain America: Civil War,” the solo picture looks to be as self-contained as “Guardians of the Galaxy”…

Black Panther” is one of Marvel’s most highly anticipated films ever, and for good reason. For one thing, it’s directed by “Fruitvale Station” and “Creed” director Ryan Coogler, a filmmaker with a genuinely interesting point of view and distinct visual style. Maybe it’s the warm glow of the disarmingly charming “Spider-Man Homecoming,” but we’re feeling pretty good about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ok, so it might be tough to get truly enthusiastic about “Ant-Man & The Wasp” at this point, but otherwise we’ve got Taika Waititi’s promising-looking “Thor: Ragnarok,” Brie Larson stepping into the shoes of “Captain Marvel,” and the “Infinity War” mash-up uniting all your favorite heroes under the reliable eye of the Russo Brothers all on the way But most promising of all is “Black Panther,” the solo adventure of the seminal hero who debuted in last year’s “Captain America: Civil War.” It’s exciting because it’s the first superhero of color to headline his own MCU movie, but it’s doubly so because the man in charge is Ryan Coogler, the bright young thing behind “Fruitvale Station” and “Creed,” and who looks to be putting his own stamp on the Marvel mega-franchise in a way that few filmmakers have been able to do. It’s hard to keep to keep up with all of them, but here are some of the latest highlights: While it’s not the six-film action pantomimes franchise we were hoping for, you do want to see a movie about the world’s greatest mime, right? Well, Jesse Eisenberg will play the legendary French mime Marcel Marceau in the film, “Resistance,” centering on the artist’s involvement in the resistance in the WWII. BURBANK, CA – One of Marvel Studios’ most anticipated new films is the long awaited “Blank Panther.” The film is currently in production, but during a press visit to Marvel Studios on Monday afternoon concept art and footage was shown. Director Ryan Coogler (“Creed”), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and many members of the cast including star Chadwick Boseman were part of a behind-the-scenes “first look” of the film that began the official tour.
